After  Patricia  was  beaten  into  a  coma  with  four  small  chiildren,  she  knew  something  had  to  change.  

She  said  that  not  one  more  woman  or  child  should  have  to  live  through  rape  or  domestic  violence.  That  is  how  Ekhaya  was  born.  

Our goal is to provide a safe place for women and children who have survived rape and domestic violence. 

We provide help with housing, food, counseling, access to medical doctors, and more.
